Can you believe it? It’s officially the end of 2025, and December usually has a way of making us pause and reflect on the things we achieved throughout the year. That pause provides clarity, allowing us to prepare for what comes next. It also reminds us of what to take into the new season and reassess things we may need to let go of.

As this year comes to a close, think about cleaning up your space. The negativity that’s been sitting too comfortably. The relationships that look real on the surface but don’t pour into you. The self-doubt that keeps whispering when you know better. Push those things out of the way.

Make room for clarity, for alignment, for people, for the ideas that actually matter. New seasons deserve open hands, not cluttered ones. Listen to this:

• For me, philanthropy has always been more than just writing checks; it’s about responsibility and intention. José and I were recently featured in Inside Philanthropy, where we discussed our approach to philanthropy and why we view it as a starting point. • If you’ve been keeping up with me, then you’ve probably seen the announcement about Culture In Motion™, presented by The Apollo and yours truly, Kwanza Jones. It’s a multi-million dollar National Roadshow that will expand The Apollo’s nearly century-long legacy beyond Harlem and bring arts access, creativity, and empowerment directly to communities across the U.S.

Culture is one of the most powerful tools for change. That’s why I’ve always seen The Apollo as more than a stage. It’s a space where people use their voice, own their power, and take action. • This month, we partnered with ONEgeneration to deliver a high-impact volunteer activation. By improving the infrastructure of their food pantry and assembling Kindness Kits for homebound seniors, we strengthened long-term food access while addressing immediate community needs and expanding ONEgeneration’s operational capacity. Through hands-on service, we also directly supported seniors and low-income families across the San Fernando Valley. This activation reflects our approach to philanthropy as a long-term investment—leveraging people power, capital, and strategic partnerships to generate meaningful and lasting community impact.

• A few days ago, my Teamily and I released a new holiday song titled “Our Company Holiday Song.” It’s a soundtrack designed to unite teams and ignite company end-of-year celebrations. It’s now available on all streaming platforms.

I always say, “No one succeeds alone. Sometimes you need a boost,” because we truly are better together. So before the holiday music fades and we begin the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown to the New Year, I want to take a moment to thank you for being a boost friend™.
