When was the last time you tried something new?
Have you ever heard that life is about the journey and not the destination? For me, knowledge is like that too! No matter how much you learn, there’s always more to discover. That’s what makes the pursuit of knowledge so exciting! The more you learn, the more you grow, and every new insight becomes the fuel for your next bold move.
If you want to go from confident to competent, you need to commit to learning and putting that knowledge into practice. Watch this:
Sometimes, the best way to learn is by actively exploring and trying new things. So, I’ve got a question for you. When was the last time you tried something new?
For this Kwanza Jones Chronicles, I’ve pulled together highlights that show what happens when you stay curious and embrace new experiences. Let’s get into it.
- Some years ago, I challenged myself to climb the tallest mountain in Africa: Mt. Kilimanjaro. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. It reminded me that the keys to success aren’t found at the summit, but in the powerful lessons you learn with every step of the climb. My team captured that journey and its lessons in a blog article. Check it out here.

- When it comes to creating a positive impact, the most powerful lessons are often learned not by giving at a distance, but by exploring what it means to serve up close. That’s exactly what my Teamily did with Project Ropa—assembling 651 hygiene kits and nearly 200 laundry kits for neighbors in need across Los Angeles. Every kit was packed with essentials and handwritten notes filled with encouragement and love. We also donated supplies to make an additional 1800 laundry kits.

- What lessons could you discover if you treated every twist in your journey as part of the process? In episode one of the I Am SUPERCHARGED® Podcast, I sat down with Jody Jacobs to talk about what it means to follow passion, embrace risk, and learn from every step of the journey. From engineering to entrepreneurship to authorship, Jody shows how each step becomes part of the foundation for growth. When you keep learning, keep moving, and keep trying, you create the space and opportunity to grow. Watch the conversation here.
- Whether you want to build wealth, create a legacy, or simply be the best you can be, you have to be willing to explore new possibilities. That’s why I always say, “If you can keep learning, you can keep growing.” The fact is, the more you know, the better you do. And the better you do, the more confident you become. “So you wanna be” successful? Then show up, put in the work, and do whatever it takes. Here’s a music boost for you by yours truly, Kwanza Jones.
When you commit to a lifestyle of learning and exploration, you become more adaptable, resilient, and resourceful. So, embrace the mindset of an explorer. Be curious, try new things, and understand that every attempt, whether successful or not, is a valuable step on the journey toward a more knowledgeable and capable you. And remember, the journey doesn’t stop there.
That’s why I created Kwanza Jones Boost Friends™ Community. It’s a space that provides opportunities to learn and grow. If you’re a member, sign in here and receive weekly boosts that will help you stay accountable and get you closer to your goals.
