Kwanza Jones was on a lot of screens this past month. From your computer to your television, “SUPERCHARGED” has been spreading around the world, giving people a reason to get up and dance. Now, with a spot on the Billboard Chart, December has certainly marked the rise of “SUPERCHARGED“.

Let’s rewind and take a moment to Keep Up With Kwanza:

SUPERCHARGED Lyric Video Contest: On December 11th, Kwanza announced the winners of her Supercharged Lyric Video Contest held on Talenthouse.com. The Grand Prize winner was Matthew Gomez, and the People’s Choice winner was Gabriel Roble. Congrats to both of them!

A New Video with Kwanza and Pollo Del Mar?: If you follow Kwanza on Facebook or Instagram, then you may have noticed a photo that looked like a behind-the-scenes moment from a video shoot. The photo featured the lovely Pollo Del Mar. It looks like Kwanza and PDM may be cooking up something fun and fabulous for the new year.

LogoTV: Yes, “SUPERCHARGED” made it to your tv screen this month. The video was aired on LogoTV‘s NewNowNext alongside artists such as fun. and Frenchie Davis.

The Views Keep Climbing: Within the first week of its November 20th release, the “SUPERCHARGED” music video received over 5,000 views on YouTube. By Christmas, Kwanza dared all of you to double it and you did! Keep sharing the video…it’s already looking like Kwanza will have a hard time picking a Fan of the Month. Could it be you?

Best Lyric of 2012: This month, Kwanza Jones was nominated in GaoSalad‘s annual Universal Conquest Awards on the Taking Over The Universe Blog. The Dance/Pop Diva walked away with Best Lyric of 2012 with the line, “I’m a Gladiator in a Thong“. That should be everyone’s mantra for 2013!
Billboard: “SUPERCHARGED” is now Kwanza’s third consecutive Billboard charting single! That’s quite an accomplishment. Congrats Kwanza! …and Congrats to YOU!…Yes, you, the fan. Without the love and support of all the fans out there, this wouldn’t be possible.
