shape your future

You have the power to shape your future! Here’s how

Right now, in this very moment, you’re writing a story—your story. Every decision, every thought, every step forward adds another line to it. And the best part? You have the power to shape it. Owning that power begins with your mindset. When you get into mental shape, you start to see yourself, your world, and your place in it with clarity. Challenges? They won’t last forever. Doubts? You have the power to reframe them. The way you see yourself sets the tone for how the world sees you.

So, how do you get into mental shape and shift into intentional living? How do you own your power? By building boldly. Stand in your strength. Shape the story you want told. No one will celebrate you if you don’t celebrate yourself. No one will value you if you don’t value yourself. And maybe you need someone to tell you. So listen to this:

The way you see yourself shapes the way you move. And the way you move? That determines your impact. When you own your power, live your purpose, and be of service, you don’t just change your life, you change the world.

For this Women’s History Month, I’m honoring all the Queens who are building boldly. That’s why I’m sharing highlights that provide insights into what it means to own your power. So, let’s dive in!

  • Some moves are smaller; some are bigger. Moves of any size can be bold. The key is to keep making moves. In this article, my team provided tips on what it really means to own your power, not just in theory, but in action. Whether it’s setting boundaries, speaking up, or stepping into new opportunities, every move you make shapes your story.

  • You may have heard me say, “I make Queen Moves Only,” and it happens to be one of my songs too. 😉 But what does it mean? Confidence! It’s more than just a feeling. It’s a decision. In this post, I break down the meaning behind “Queen Moves Only” and how taking bold, intentional action is the key to owning your power. The way you move through the world reflects how much you trust yourself and your abilities. The choices you make, the steps you take, they shape your journey. So, why not make them count?
  • True power isn’t about standing alone at the top. It’s about lifting others as you rise, making space, and building a future where access isn’t limited to a select few. That’s exactly what Monarch Collective is doing. They are an investment fund focused on investing in women’s sports. They’re building a future where women athletes get the recognition, resources, and respect they deserve. That’s what owning power looks like. It’s stepping up, making bold moves, and shifting the game for good.

  • Sometimes, owning your power means walking boldly even in the face of adversity. It means knowing that you don’t have to do it alone because no one succeeds alone. That’s why lifting others up isn’t just important, it’s necessary. This is what we explored at the Women’s Leadership Breakfast by Girls, Inc. Los Angeles on International Day of the Girl back in 2023. We talked about confidence, decision-making, and the responsibility that comes with power; using your voice, your influence, and your platform to create opportunities for others.

Owning your power is about making intentional choices; how you show up, how you move, and how you define who you are. It’s about choosing confidence and building boldly. Every decision you make strengthens your identity and shapes how the world sees you.

So here’s a question for you: Are you building boldly enough to create the future you want? Think about it.
