The Gladiators Were Out In Southern Florida This Past Weekend

March 23rd, 2013 | 11:00 PM Pacific Time

Kwanza Jones hit the stage for her Gladiators in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando last weekend, and the Queen of the Clubs even used the time to support a good cause.

Her first stop on the Gladiators “Я” Vicious Tour was Georgie’s Alibi (Fort Lauderdale/ Wilton Manors) on March 22nd, where fans came out to get SUPERCHARGED and help raise money for Team Alibi in the Florida AIDS Walk. She performed her Billboard-charting single, “SUPERCHARGED” and the upcoming track, “Vicious“. Fans also got the chance to sing along to Kwanza’s anti-hate anthem, “#StopHate”.

Kwanza Jones also stopped at Parliament House in Orlando to perform at their Erotica event on March 23rd. The performance began with an opening act from one of Orlando’s favorite drag queens, Miss. Darcel Stevens. Kwanza Jones is now one of many artists, including Mya and Chaka Khan, to have graced the stage at Parliament House.

Florida, you were awesome. Now, the next stop on the Gladiators “Я” Vicious Tour is White Party Palm Springs 2013! You can catch Kwanza Jones at the Bulge Underwear Party on Friday, March 29th, along with Meital Dohan and the Andrew Christian models. If you plan to stay for the entire weekend’s festivities, be sure to look out for performances by Icona Pop, Carly Rae Jepsen, Alexis Jordan, and Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters.
