Kwanza Jones climbed the charts this month and surprised us with the release of her SUPERCHARGED album. There has even been some news of a “Vicious” single, remix contest, and music video, which one lucky fan got the chance to fly out to Los Angeles and experience. Kwanza Jones got us “SUPERCHARGED“, but it looks like her next mission is to show us the meaning of being “Vicious“.

2X Billboard Chart Success for SUPERCHARGED: This month, Kwanza’s latest single, “SUPERCHARGED“, appeared on not only one, but two Billboard charts. It peaked at #19 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance/Club Play chart and debuted on the new Dance/Electronic chart. That’s quite an accomplishment for an EDM diva. Go Kwanza!

EYES IN Magazine: EYES IN Magazine has been a huge supporter of everything Kwanza-related. They love to cover trendsetters and innovators across all mediums and this month, Kwanza Jones made it to the February edition of their magbook publication. The exclusive feature includes an interview with Kwanza Jones, showing a side of her that truly sets her apart from other artists. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already!

VICIOUS music video shoot: Kwanza’s next single is going to be “Vicious“! The Queen of the Clubs held a video shoot this month for the upcoming club banger. Companies like, Whole Foods Venice, Violent Lips, and Olaedo Hair Boutique were involved in the production of this video, and even one of Kwanza’s biggest fans got to be in on the action. Drew Orey, a Cedar Shoals High School student from Athens, Ga, won a contest to come out to Los Angeles and be on set with Kwanza Jones and her crew. Drew was so inspired, he’s even making his own “Vicious” video project.

SUPERCHARGED remixes and the VICIOUS remix contest: Do you love dance remixes? Well, artists such as Dave Aude, Gustavo Scorpio, and Cliffhanger vs. LightniX, have created a compilation of Electronic remixes for “SUPERCHARGED“. You can check them out and buy your copy on iTunes. The SUPERCHARGED album: The SUPERCHARGED album is available now on iTunes! On February 26th, Kwanza Jones released an exclusive deluxe edition of her dance album. It includes two bonus tracks: “Think Again (Alex Cohen Big Room Remix)” and “Made U Look“. “Made U Look” features San Francisco drag queen, Pollo Del Mar. Expect a video for that track very soon! If you’ve heard the track, then you know the video is going to be hilarious.
