When I think about @apollotheater, I think about these 4 Ls: Love. Laughter. Listen. Loud.

Love through lived stories and cultural testimony.
Laughter through comedy that connects us.
Listen through music, performance, and sound.
Loud through civic engagement and voices that move communities forward.

I’m excited for you to experience a dedicated space where all four come alive, where energy turns into action, creativity meets opportunity, and community gets amplified.

This roadshow is historic. For the first time in its 92-year history, the Apollo Theater is dark during renovation, creating a powerful moment to take its legacy on the road and meet communities where they are.

Culture, literally in motion. The kickoff is coming tomorrow in Harlem, virtually, hosted by #TheApollo.

The Culture In Motion™ Roadshow officially kicks off on 1/26, with the SBKJ team on the ground in Harlem celebrating @apollotheater`s 92nd anniversary, honoring the legacy and sending the culture on the road.

From there, we head west for a boosted community block party and a series of experiences built to meet communities where they are, spotlighting bold voices, live artistry, and high-energy empowerment with culture at the center.

This isn’t just a stop. It’s a movement.
Legacy in motion. Innovation in action. Community front and center.

As we settle into a new year think about cleaning up your space. The negativity that’s been sitting too comfortably. The relationships that look real on the surface but don’t pour into you. The self-doubt that keeps whispering when you know better. Push those things out of the way.

Make room for clarity, for alignment, for people, and all things new! New seasons deserve open hands, not cluttered ones. It talk about this more in my last newsletter via link in bio.
